Waldo is an elderly man who is the butler and current caregiver of Magari Mizuki ever since her parents abandoned her. He is mentioned by her to be a wise man and one of the few people she has shown genuine love for.

After Magari has a spat with Naho Saenoki while trying to get ahold of the Book of Shadows through a girl named Ayumi Shinozaki. Magari then orders Waldo to do research on Naho for her, which he accepts.

Waldo shows up in Magari's bedroom with a briefcase full of items in preparation for her trip to Heavenly Host Elementary School.
EX CHAPTER 04 『Memories, Like Beautiful Dreams』[]
Waldo is the waiter at Magari's café who politely shows Naho Saenoki, Sayaka Ooue, and Haruyuki Inumaru their table to sit at and Naho comments about how this man feels familiar but she doesn't quite know where (a nod to the events that took place in the Corpse Party: Book of Shadows Drama CD "PROJECT DOLLIES").
EX CHAPTER 08 『Reignition』[]
Magari has a full on tantrum in her bedroom after she learns that everyone in Martuba's Tomb is either dead or has fled. She, however, does calm down when Waldo enters her bedroom and offers her some milk tea and welcomes her back. Magari throws herself onto Waldo and bawls in his arms and makes him promise that he would never leave her. He promises and smiles down at her. Magari narrates that Waldo is "old and wise" and is her "rock in all this". She then promises to rebuild Martuba's Tomb and make it better than ever, and tells Waldo that they have a lot of work to do before the chapter closes.
