- For the items, see Candles.
Save Points are a recurring game mechanic in the Corpse Party series. They serve as the main method of saving your progress in the game, and are usually represented in the form of wax candles.
Usage[]
In both Corpse Party (PC, PSP, iOS, 3DS) and Corpse Party: Blood Drive, the numerous candles placed throughout Heavenly Host Elementary School by Ayumi Shinozaki serve as save points. To use them, the player merely needs to interact with them, and save in one of the multiple save slots. Each chapter has its own set of saves. It is highly recommended that you make use of the multiple saves, especially as the number of wrong ends increase the further you process through the games.
Save spots also appear as candles in Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient, though there is no explanation given as to why they are there. Like the previous games, there are multiple save slots.
Trivia[]
- In Corpse Party: Book of Shadows and Corpse Party -THE ANTHOLOGY- Sachiko no Ren'ai Yūgi ♥ Hysteric Birthday 2U, there are no save points. Instead, the player can save from the pause menu. The multiple save slot system for each chapter is still used.
