Miku Shirayume (白夢 美九 Shirayume Miku) is a minor character introduced in Corpse Party (Switch, PS4) and a student of Kisaragi Academy Senior High School's classroom 2-3.
Design[]
Miku is a teenage girl with blue eyes and short black hair, the ends of which are dyed a bright magenta.
She wears a updated version of the standard Kisaragi Academy Senior High female uniform consisting of a tan colored sailor outfit with a squarish blue collar, light blue cuffs, yellow bow held by a blue brooch, blue pleated skirt, white knee-high socks and white uwabaki slippers with blue stripes near the soles. Her student ID is pinned on the left side of her collar.
Personality[]
Miku is known to have a bright and cheerful personality, and streams on YouTube at night under the moniker of "miku🌻". Despite not being taken seriously by her mother and only having 100 subscribers, she enjoys streaming nonetheless and hopes to make it big as a streamer. Apart from being an idol fan, she seems to be interested in urban legends.
She is best friends with her classmate Ryoka Iwami and believes her to be very cute.
Due to an unspecified lung condition, Miku visits Amare Patriarcha Crucis Hospital regularly for physical exams. Her mother's side of the family had always had weak lungs. Her grandmother passed away from lung cancer and her mother has difficulty breathing. Miku keeps an asthma inhaler with her.
Etymology[]
- The name Miku means "beautiful" (美) (mi) and "nine" (九) (ku).
- Miku's surname Shirayume means "white" (白) (shira) and "dream, vision" (夢) (yume).
- Upon further inspection, her sprite texture appears to be a complete reskin of Naomi Nakashima's. Her name is listed as 'Naomi' within the sprite game files as well.
