Hideki Tachibana (橘 秀樹,Tachibana Hideki?), also known as Tachibana Hideki (秀樹 タチバナ,Hideki Tachibana?) is a character introduced in CORPSE PARTY -Rebuilt-, a student of Tendo Senior High School's classroom III-B and a victim of the abandoned school and Heavenly Host.
He has medium/short green hair with a little hank in the middle. Hideki also wears glasses, but he looks from the top of them. He wears the Tendo Senior High School uniform.
Personality
Hideki is an occult lover and is also a tad introverted. He's physically weak, but highly introspective and has great insight. Overly sarcastic and cynical, Hideki has a difficult time keeping friends. He considers himself lucky to have met Masayuki Hayashi. Their story begins when Hideki told Masayuki that ghost story...and they got wrapped up into something sinister.
Etymology
The name Hideki means "excellent, outstanding" (秀) (hide) and "tree" (樹) (ki).
Hideki's surname Tachibana means "orange, tangerine" (橘).
Trivia
His name tag can be recovered in the second wing in the fifth chapter of Corpse Party. According to it, he died from strangulation by an unknown assailant.
Before his name was finalized as Hideki in the Zero demo of CORPSE PARTY -Rebuilt-, his name was originally Yuuji (優二,Yūji?).
