Corpse Party: NewChapter (コープスパーティー NewChapter Kōpusu Pātī NewChapter) is a discontinued survival horror adventure game being developed by Team GrisGris for mobile and was the original inception for the Heavenly Host Saga.
Plot[]
Corpse Party: NewChapter's plot was very similar to its enhanced versions, such as Corpse Party: BloodCovered.
However, the game was discontinued after Chapter 4, leaving the story unfinished.
Trivia[]
- The game is no longer available as the download links for it were deleted.
- In 2007, the official site contained a QR code to download the game, but when scanned, the site it leads to doesn't work anymore. It seems to lead to a RPG Tool site, most likely how the game was made. Although, using the Wayback Machine, snapshots of the original link can be found, but the game cannot be downloaded on a non-compatible device.
- Corpse Party: NewChapter didn't contain a chapter 5, as it was ported to the PC before the release of the chapter, leaving the mobile version discontinued.
- The character portraits for Corpse Party: NewChapter were noticeably different from the PC version's, where they were slightly improved.
- Corpse Party: NewChapter didn't appear to have a portrait of Sakutaro Morishige.
- The maps were significantly smaller than the PC version.
